Results of Treasure Coast Casters Senior Division Inshore Tournament

March 17, 2013

After having to reschedule the tournament last weekend everyone was very happy that the weather was so good for today's inshore tournament. We had a few snafu's this morning but nothing we couldn't handle. We left the docks at Capt. Joe's Bait & Tackle at 7:15am due to the time change and the TCC's fished until 12:30pm. We would like to welcome new TCC Senior Ian Banard to our group!

Sheepshead was defiantly the fish of the day followed by mangrove snapper and spanish mackerel. There we a couple of snook caught and released that were in the slot. Maxwell Higgins caught a blue runner that was over 2 pounds. There were also a lot of short sheepshed, snapper, trout, black drum and redfish.

Our next meeting will be on Saturday - April 13th and tournament on Sunday - April 14th. On Saturday we will partner with the Hook Kids of Fishing program and will mentor the youths that sign up for the event.

Thank you to all the dad's, uncle's and boat volunteers for taking time out of your busy schedule to take these kids fishing! We couldn't do it without you!
