Results of Treasure Coast Casters Junior Tournament

July 27, 2014
Today we held our bi-monthly from shore tournament for the Junior Division of Treasure Coast Casters.  We would like to welcome Cameron Hicks, Kaleb Kneip and Brandon Leitenbauer to the group.  We had 22 TCC's sign up for the tournament and 20 made it to the tournament.
What beautiful weather we had for the tournament.  We also had a incoming tide and the fishing was great!  We had a fish to weigh by 9:05am!!  With 20 TCC's fishing they weighed in 19 fish!  All the fish were released.  Jordan Leitenbauer was first to the table with a snapper.  He also had a rockfish, mutton snapper and a pinfish.  Next up was Dillon Furiato with a puffer and this was the first fish he has ever caught.  Mackenzy Peavy was next with a neddlefish and right behind her was Kaleb Kneip with a 2lb. 8oz. ladyfish. Cameron Hicks brought us a jack, a 1lb. 13oz. Spanish mackerel and a 22 inch - 3lb. 9oz. snook.  Brayden Adams and Riley Orr each had a snapper.  Nicholas Rosario had a mutton snapper, 3 catfish and a jack.
1st Place - Nicholas Rosario - Fairlawn Elem. 4th grade - Ft. Pierce
2nd Place - Jordan Leitenbauer - Fairlawn Elem. 2nd grade - Ft. Pierce
3rd Place - Cameron Hicks - Weatherbee Elem. 4th grade - Ft. Pierce
Biggest fish of the tournament went to Cameron Hicks for his 3lb. 9oz. snook.  Along with his trophy he received a gift card to the Fishing Center that was donated by Pat & Gwen and one of our new TCC decals.
Our webmaster is on vacation for 2 weeks so the results will not be posted until they return.  Pictures are up on Facebook.  Like us @ Treasure Coast Casters for the latest news and results.
