The weather was kind of sketchy as the boats left the dock at Capt. Joe's Bait & Tackle at 7:15am. With having to reschedule the tournament from the week before we had our fingers crossed that we could get it in and we did! We had a total of 10 different species of fish on our list but it seemed that big jacks were everywhere.
In the Middle School Division Michael Rochedieu caught and released his 1st goliath grouper, a short snook and a 10 pound jack. Kaitlyn Ward had a spanish mackerel, jacks and a 5lb. 7oz. black drum.
In the High School Division Andrew Evans had a nice snapper along with a few other not on the list fish. Paulina Hafner caught a jack that was close to 10 pounds. Ty Walker had a 1lb. 5oz. trout and with a jack or two. And, Savannah Ward had a sheepshead, a 5lb. black drum along with a ladyfish and jack.

The Senior group also got their visors that Pat & Gwen had made for the group. And, so did out boat volunteers - Clint Skinner, Chad Painter, Anna Green & Capt. Rob Ward.
Sorry I couldn't be at the tournament but I will be there next month!
See you in April
